Should i kill astrid in skyrim
By right and ancient nord custom, you could also do trial by combat for the position. Especially with the fact he could present the ancient crown of the high king, which would grant him the title of high king as right of possession. The longer the sentence, the more skills that will be affected. Skyrim introduces two more options: evading bounty by flaunting a title. At first you can only clear your bounty in Riften, but after completing enough small jobs for Vex and Delvin in each city Markarth, Whiterun, Windhelm and Solitude , you will be able to do a city influence quest where you will be asked to complete a certain task from an influential individual from that city.
If in a remote or enclosed location, murdering witnesses to a theft, murder, or another crime annuls the bounty one acquires automatically for committing the crime. Should I kill Astrid? Can you save Astrid? Should I kill or spare Cicero? Can you marry Cicero? Where is the hiding place for Balagogs body? What happens if u let Cicero live?
Does Cicero kill Loreius? Is Cicero a good follower? What happens when you kill Cicero? Do I have to kill Vittoria Vici? What happens if you report Cicero? In my opinion as a good guy the Dark Brotherhood quest-line is kind of impossible to justify.
The thieves guild I was able to kind of pseudo explain to myself, via a combination of robin hood esque behavior and not doing any of the framing quest. Dark Brotherhood is just pretty much irreconcilable. Personally I was much happier with choosing the destroy option and saving the quest-line for an alternate more thematically appropriate character.
BelligerentEngine said:. Boy, I really don't remember that being an option. Can you be a bit more specific about where you get that mission? I'm very curious. It's not a mission, when you wake up in the hut she says, "you've got to kill someone to get out of here" or something.
Which gives you the opportunity to intuit that maybe you can kill her. Doing so results in her kinda doing some weird shadow step attacking thing but eventually when you kill her she whispers, "well done". Once you kill Astrid you get a quest that says to talk to guard, which leads you to the questline to wipe out the rest of the brotherhood. If you choose to kill her, you get one more mission. If you join you get a whole questline of varied quests.
I'm a good guy too, but I didn't want to miss all that. Almost all the items unique to the faction can be looted off the dark brotherhood members once you've killed them. I never considered that as a potential option. Then again, I didn't pursue anything that would have gotten me in touch with the Brotherhood as a good character either. Well if you have already made the choice to kill the orphanage matron in cold blood for Aventis Aretino, then I would question your adherance to the whole good guy track already.
The Brotherhood missions are interesting, but definitely not moral. Speak to Astrid for your welcome package for officially joining the Brotherhood and also end the quest. To repay it, you must simply kill one of the three captives in the shack. Simple enough right?
Well, if you get to talking to the three captives that kneel before you whether out of basic interest or earnestly trying to discover which one could have had a 'hit' placed on them you will discover that one is a mother of six, the other a soldier and another a Khajiit who's already had a contract taken out on him before Killing the Khajiit may ease the consciences of some, but for others there is always the option of killing Astrid.
Kill Astrid and you will find the key to escape the shack on her body, the quest for the Dark Brotherhood will come up as failed There goes that quest line. Until a new quest pops up "Destroy the Dark Brotherhood ". You are now able to set the captives free and instructed to inform a guard of Astrid's death. You can literally walk up to any guard and tell them of Astrid's death.
